Objective

The project objective was to create a tool that makes it possible to:

• track employee location in real time;
• record visits to clients or sites;
• manage tasks and optimize routes;
• collect work data into a unified reporting system;
• increase the productivity of field crews and service teams.

Project stages

Analysis

The business processes of companies with field employees (sales representatives, couriers, service engineers, etc.) were analyzed to identify the key scenarios: GPS tracker, visits, route history and reporting.

Design

The mobile app interface was designed for convenient everyday use: scheduled tasks, maps with geofences, buttons for marking visits and taking photos, as well as visual progress reports.

Development and testing

A geolocation module was implemented using GPS, GLONASS and auxiliary network methods for accurate positioning. Tests were carried out for tracking stability, compatibility with Android and iOS, and correctness of report forms.
