Procurement work in brief
Many companies and organizations buy software development through tenders, whether required by internal regulations, corporate policy or procurement law. This format demands more than development expertise from the contractor: it also takes careful handling of documentation, deadlines and client requirements.
Alfateam builds web and mobile applications, CRM and ERP systems, integrations and process automation solutions. During preparation, we help define the requirements; during delivery, we stick to the agreed scope and hand over the result with full documentation.
Procurement formats we work with
Procurement in Kazakhstan
Public procurement and quasi-public sector procurement where the requirements allow a software development service provider to participate.
Corporate tenders
Competitions and requests for proposals from large companies and holdings in Kazakhstan and Russia under their internal procurement rules.
Commercial procurement in Russia
Requests for quotations, competitions and tenders from commercial clients, as well as procurement under client regulations that allow a sole proprietor (individual entrepreneur) to participate.
Direct contracts
When no procurement procedure is required, we work under a direct contract with a clear scope of work, milestones and acceptance procedure.
How the work goes
- 1
Tender analysis
We review the documentation, technical specification, evaluation criteria and contractor requirements. If the tender terms rule us out, we say so upfront.
- 2
Requirements and justification
At the planning stage, we help draft the technical specification and scope of work, and prepare a commercial proposal to justify the budget.
- 3
Bid and documents
We prepare the bid, solution description, work schedule and the full document package the tender requires.
- 4
Development and implementation
We deliver according to the contract milestones: design, development, integrations, testing and deployment on the client's infrastructure.
- 5
Handover and support
We hand over the source code and documentation, train users and administrators, and support the system during and after the warranty period.
