About the project
InPuls is a company that works with electronics: it supplies electronic components, assembles and manufactures printed circuit boards, and takes part in state defense procurement tenders. We designed its corporate website with a product catalog.
Challenge
The customers of a company like this are engineers and procurement specialists. They don't come for impressions — they come for a specific component with specific characteristics, often with a list of dozens of items. The website had to both present the company's lines of business and provide a convenient tool for finding products: by category, by parameters and as a whole list at once.
Home page
The first screen is a slider with the large headline "Comprehensive work with microchips", a "Find a solution" button and a collage of photos of circuit boards and assembly equipment. The images are separated by diagonal red and blue stripes — a motif that echoes the logo colors and recurs throughout the site. Below are the three main lines of business: electronic component supply, PCB assembly and PCB manufacturing. Each one is a large card with a photo and an arrow button.
The next block is a showcase of electronic component categories: wireless modules, RF/microwave components, LEDs, resistors, connectors, capacitors, microchips, crystals and inductive components. Next to the heading is an "Upload BOM" button: an engineer can send the entire specification instead of searching for items one by one. It is followed by a block about participation in AST GOZ tenders, listing what the company can supply, including sourcing hard-to-find equipment and domestic equivalents.
Catalog
The catalog has a two-column layout. On the left is a list of categories: position sensors, inertial sensors, electric motors, gearboxes, power supplies, keypads, fans, rare components and more. On the right are the same categories as tiles with photos. At the bottom is a filter panel by manufacturer, series, rated voltage and power — in electronics, these are the parameters that most often determine the choice.
Product page
The product page features an image gallery with thumbnails and arrows, the product name and specifications in two columns: series, part number, rated voltage, power, motor type and rated speed. Below the specifications are downloadable files, such as technical specifications in PDF, followed by the description, price and a "Submit a request" button. The "Upload BOM" button is available here too, so the remaining items can be added to the request. The description texts in the mockup are placeholders to be filled in by the client.
Result
The website design combines two goals: presenting the company's lines of business and giving engineers a working catalog. Categories are available both as tiles and as a list, filters are built around technical parameters, and the ability to upload a BOM file lets users send a request for the entire specification at once. The dark first screen with photos of electronics and the restrained white-and-blue palette of the catalog suit the technical subject matter.
