Task

Our task is to raise the level of customer service by providing clients with a higher-quality service. We plan to collect and systematize information about current and previous freight shipments so that clients can easily track the status of their shipments. In addition, we will provide online access to services so that clients can use them at any time convenient for them.

Project features

The project to create a website for the company “ret.kz” stands out for the comprehensiveness of the services offered. The website will present all the details of logistics. This list includes freight transportation, routing and cargo tracking.

Analytics

The team carried out a thorough analysis of the company and its website. Having identified the main needs of clients, we developed an action plan that meets the client’s requests.

Design

The client provided a brand style guidebook, which we followed throughout the work. We used an iterative approach, starting with developing prototypes and then moving on to components and mockups. This approach allowed us to quickly demonstrate intermediate results to the client. The art director regularly joined the team at each stage to conduct reviews and make sure important details were covered.

Development and testing

Having received the API from the existing Backend, we started developing the Frontend of the application. When designing the architecture, we took into account all potential needs based on the initial design/mockup of the project. We also implemented request caching to speed up data processing and page loading. Creating a centralized design system that matches the client’s guidebook optimized the process of developing the necessary components.
