About the project

Vsya Tekhnika Zdes (“All the Machinery Is Here”) is a mobile app for ordering heavy machinery. It brings two sides together: customers who need machinery on site, and contractors — equipment owners and dispatchers who assign vehicles and drivers to orders. We designed the iOS interface of the app: personal accounts, a work calendar, staff management and a map.

Challenge

Heavy equipment rental still largely relies on phone calls and notebook entries: which drivers are free, which tractor is booked on Wednesday, where to go and who owes how much. We needed to move this work into an app where customers and contractors have their own scenarios but share orders, payments and support.

Work calendar

The contractor's main screen is the work calendar. Rows list machines with their license plates, columns show the days of the week, and booked days are highlighted in yellow. This way, the dispatcher sees in a second which vehicle is free on the required date and doesn't accept an order no one can fulfill. Below the calendar are quick links to services, orders in progress and completed orders.

Staff and machine assignment

In the “Staff” section, the dispatcher keeps a list of drivers and operators. Each has a rating, the number of shifts worked and a table of assigned machinery: license plate and vehicle type. “Assign to machinery” links a vehicle to an employee, new people are added with a separate button, and the list can be sorted or searched to find the right person.

Profile, payments and map

The personal account brings together finances: the account balance with “Top up account” and “Settlements” buttons, bonus points, personal information, account settings and help. Next to the name is the user's rating, built from their work on the platform, and the “Change status” button at the bottom of the screen lets you switch the account status.

The work address is set on the map: the user searches for an address in the search bar, and the point is marked on a dark city map with a machinery icon. The map's dark theme continues the app's overall style — a black background with yellow accents, echoing the colors of construction equipment.

Result

We designed an app where the contractor plans machinery workload on a calendar, assigns vehicles to drivers and sees each employee's rating and shifts, while the customer sets the address on the map, handles payments and tracks orders. Both sides work in one system with shared support, bonuses and ratings.
